The Atlanta Taekwondo Academy has been located in East Point Ga for 23 years. Unfortunately, due to COVID 19, their doors will have to close permanently.

The instructor took pride in teaching the art of Taekwondo to students of all ages who come through his door throughout the years. Hes tried different techniques to enforce social distancing, but hes unable to fill his classroom as he was before. He is also one of the only black owned businesses in this neighborhood plaza. His neighboring businesses are an Asian owned nail salon and beauty supply store. This story is amongst many of the small black businesses being forced to close due to COVID 19.
