I took a trip to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to document the rally for political prisoner Mumia Abu- Jamal. The current situation in the United States with political prisoners is a subject that I am very passionate about, so I was glad to be able to be there to support the cause. While there for a only couple days, I was able to quickly feel the energy of Philadelphia. There was certain polished grit to city. It felt like stepping back in time to the beginnings of America by the architectural layout alone. I was able to have a few quick interactions with a couple families and bikes kids, ALL of them were kind and warm spirited.
